Our display case this month features many wonderful spring items. We modeled it after the popular text "Do You See What I See?" The children helped to create a seek and find poem The next time you are in ER in May, please read the poem and look for hidden treasures. Mother's Day flowers brightened up the room for the week. Ms. Danna dropped by with underwater specimens for us to explore. Finally, we said goodbye to our student helper, Alexis Bond. She will be missed. We just can't get enough science in room 109! Pictured in the slideshow are the results of 2 different experiments. In the first experiment, we wanted to find out what will make a mealworm go in reverse. We tried a light source, blocking its path, touching the antenna, or moving a q-tip soaked in vinegar near its head. The second experiment focused on finding which food our mealworm liked the best. Our results are pictured. Also, there are some cute photos from our monthly auction. |
